Recreation Division Player Registration
Registration for the 2026 season is open and will be open until we are full in all age groups
Here is the current status of each age group:
Ages 6 and under is open with many spots available.
Pee Wee Division (7 & 8 yr olds): We have a few openings in this age group.
Minors (9 & 10 yr olds) We have a few openings in this age group.
Majors (11 & 12 yr olds) We have a few openings in this age group.
13 yr olds - We HAVE A FEW OPENINGS IN THIS AGE GROUP and will be forming a 4th team, thanks to some new volunteer coaches.
15 yr olds - We have spots remaining. We need coaches in this age group. Please reach out with any interest you may have. We can create more teams as needed, if we have coaches available.
Thank you to generous corporate and community sponsors, we have scholarship dollars that are available if assistance is needed with registration fees or equipment. If assistance is needed, please e-mail randy@rivertonbaseball.org
Friend Requests
In the 6 and under age groups we strive to accommodate friend requests and there will be a place for that on your registration form.
For ages 7 and up we do not accommodate friend requests.
Season Schedule and Games will be available Mid-March. You can plan on two games per week between Monday and Saturday. Practices will be organized by the individual teams.
Games will begin the week of April 6th and run through the end of June. You can plan on approximately 2 games per week that will be scheduled by the league, but practices will be left up to the individual teams to schedule and are not controlled by the league, but field space will be provided, prior to games starting.
2026 Player Evaluations February 28th
Player Evaluation Information
Player evaluations are currently scheduled for Saturday February 28th but will be weather dependent. As the date approaches, more details will be provided through the email that you registered with. Teams will be formed the first week of March and you should hear from your coach shortly thereafter.
- Ages 6 and under: No evaluation. players will be assigned to teams in Mid March
- Ages 7-12 (Pee Wee, Minor, and Major divisions):
Majors: arrive at the Snack shack by 830 AM to check in and warm up on field 2.
Minors: arrive at the Snack shack by 930 AM to check in and warm up on field 1.
Pee Wee: arrive at the Snack shack by 1030 AM to check in and warm up on field 4.
13U: arrive at the Snack shack by 1030 AM to check in and warm up on field 5.
Bring your mitt, a ball and a bat and helmet if you have one. If you need to borrow anything, we will have a few extras available.
Player Evaluations are not needed if your player is staying in the same age division they played in during the 2025 spring season (NOT FALL SEASON).
- Example: If your child played as a 7-year-old in Pee Wee during Spring 2025, they will be automatically placed back on the same team with returning players for Spring 2026.
- The same applies for 9-year-olds and 11-year-olds staying in their current divisions.
- New players to the league: New players should attend so we can place them on a team
- Can’t attend tryouts? No problem. Your child will still be placed on a team.
Evaluations are used to help create balanced teams across the league.
