Recreation Division Player Registration
Registration is OPEN for Fall Ball 2026
If your youth is currently 8–15 years old, you can register with Riverton Baseball beginning June 1. Please note that Fall Ball age groups are based on your child’s age for the following spring league. Whatever your youth’s age is on April 30, 2027 will determine their Fall Ball division. This may be different from the age group they played in this spring.
We will have significantly more player slots available than in past seasons. That said, please be aware that previous Fall Ball registrations have filled up in less than 24 hours.
We look forward to an exciting 2026 Fall Ball season and seeing you at the park. Below is a simple FAQ that we’ve put together to help answer common questions. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any others.
Fall Ball FAQ
Does my child need to try out?
No. Fall Ball teams are created through coach-requested player freezes, friend requests made during registration, and Riverton Baseball league assignments.
Can my child play with their friends?
Yes, you may request that your child play with friends. Requests will be accommodated when possible, while keeping teams balanced for competitive integrity. Please understand all requests are not a guarantee.
Why is my child not on the same team from the spring and/or with the same coach?
Your child may be moving up into a new division (reminder: age is based on your youth’s age on April 30, 2027). Their current coach may not be moving up to that division or may have already used their player freezes.
Why is my child playing in an older division?
See above.
Why can’t I register my child who will be younger than 8 on April 30, 2027?
Riverton City coordinates all younger players in the fall, and their registration is already final.
Why is Riverton Baseball the best?
We have the best players, the best parents, the best coaches/volunteers, and the best umpires.
